Message But by doing that aren't you increasing velocity of the airstream (by reducing pressure). Since the end passage diameter is the same, with an increase in airflow/air supply and a bigger opening; you are going to get an increase in air velocity,a reduction in pressure and ultimately more air getting packed in. Its almost like air is being sucked in which is a good thing. *Shrugs* just a thought. Please correct me if I am wrong.

In my understanding TB's will increase performance either way, but obviously one more than the other.
